PRAYING FOR GOD'S REIGN: LENTEN PRAYERS
DAY 7: WEDNESDAY
Guide us gently, Loving One. Guide us into the places that deepen our
trust in You. Guide us in the ways of
truth and compassion, justice and peace.
Guide us toward fruitful lives of generosity and hospitality.
Guide us beyond our fears. Guide us away from greed. Guide us past the snares that we often race
toward with wide eyes in spite of the ways that they diminish and destroy
us.
Tame our desire
to live with no limits. Shatter our
illusions that we are the center of the universe.
Lead us into
strong communities of worship, service and communion. Teach us to strengthen each other for glad
obedience. We trust You just enough to keep following. Deepen our trust! Amen.
