Thy Kingdom Come
Bring your reign among us in fullness
Beloved Father. Bring your justice to every nation. Topple oppressive
structures. Overturn our arrogance. Lift the fallen. Comfort the crestfallen.
Liberate every bound spirit. Heal every sickness. Restore earth in its fruitful
abundance and magnificent beauty.
Let heaven and earth rejoice! Let every
knee bow in glad and humble worship. Let people everywhere lift their hands in
joyful praise.
Enable us to act in concert with your
healing, liberating, forgiving, and transforming agenda. Make us fruitful
coworkers with Christ as we practice hospitality, compassion and mercy. May we share generously with our many
neighbors as we practice community that is open and fearless.
Bring your reign in fullness! May it be evident to all! Amen.
