SIXTH MONDAY
Mark
11:12-25
Christ Jesus, make our lives fruitful for
the reign of God. Do not give up on us. Do not let us wither away, but prune
whatever is useless. Nurture our weary faith to new vitality.
Disrupt us whenever we turn our faith
practices into commercial enterprises for trade in religious commodities.
Forgive us for our crass materialism. Forgive us for forgetting the heart of
our lives together.
Turn our focus back to God’s sovereignty
and God’s reconciling plan for all of creation. Let us live in gratitude and
welcome diverse people from many lands to pray with us. Broaden our vision and
stir our prayers for all nations.
Deepen our faith. Enable us to trust that
You can provide for our true needs and do new creation in response to our
prayers. Amen.
