WALKING WITH JESUS
Day 24: Tuesday
Mark 5:21-43
Jesus, when we walk with You
daily and stay alert for all that You are saying and doing among us, we
discover that even those moments when our journey is interrupted or disrupted
may turn into moments of awesome wonder.
Walking with You, we have many
opportunities to observe and enact your compassion. We see the fullness of your authority over
all things. We see your power for new
life through which many find healing and peace.
We see your utter clarity about the people You encounter and your ability
to carry out your mission as Agent of God’s reign.
As we walk with You, enable
us to act in healing, life-giving ways.
Show us what your compassion and power can do through us, and energize
us to act boldly for your glory. Amen.
